I managed to walk by the entry folder outside Colleen's door everyday intending to make something to put in it and never quite managing to. That said, if I make some more designs is it possible to add them there? I've also used Spreadshirt.com before, and I was thinking I could maybe set up a Johnston shop on that website.
I haven't been on the Johnston site in a while but I would be happy to talk to you about new designs. And I would love to have you work with people on complex to get new designs. Let me know if you're still interested.
Why not have a design competition ahead of the RENEWAL !!! (reunion) for some nice items we all can ID with like Pam indicated? Recommend we "volunteer" Sandie Bacon who is an incredible artist and all around wonderful person (JC '75 or so) to start work on this. I'd sure like a TEE shirt that reflects on "us."

At the risk of being roasted on a spit over the (soon to be remodeled) firepit, Sandie can be reached at:
This is easily done if Sandie is willing and able. I just need an electronic file of the image, then I can add it to the t-shirts and other gear on the site. Let me know.

I would like to be able to see and buy the Johnston gear on line. If that is not possible at this time, then definately for the 40th reunion there should be lots of gear to buy. We've never had the opportunity to buy something with our college name on it, like almost every other college goer in the country. We never identified with U of R and I never imagined buying a tshirt or sweatshirt with that name and logo, but Johnston I would in a heartbeat.
Ask and you shall receive. Here is the Johnston Gear website: http://www.cafepress.com/johnstoncenter. It is also linked above. This was an independent study project last semester of Colleen Boley, who just graduated. Enjoy!
