Johnston is a living/learning community. We mean that in many ways. First of all, fifteen faculty offices are in the Johnston complex, so professors and students see each other throughout the day and evening, not just in the classroom. Secondly, it means that there are things to be learned about living and things to be lived in the learning we do, so experience and exploration go hand-in-hand in Johnston. Finally, being in a living/learning community means that you have colleagues all around you all the time to help you with your living and your learning.
