I would add Contract Negotiation and Graduation Review to the list of rituals.  Grad Review was one of the most wonderful rites of passage I have ever experienced.  Perhaps Curriculum Building is a ritual as well?  Are there still dorm dinners?  Those were wonderful rituals.  We played dress-up and tried to behave ourselves for a few hours.  GYST is definitely a ritual.  Reunion is a ritual--even when it's called a Renewal!  So many rituals when you think about it; no wonder I thnk of Johnston as my church!
